Enoxaparin 10000 IU is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used as an anticoagulant for the prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders. It works by inhibiting factor Xa and, to a lesser extent, thrombin (factor IIa), thereby reducing the formation of blood clots.
The 10000 IU dosage is typically used in acute cases such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and for preventing thromboembolic complications in hospitalized patients.
