Paratel injection
Paratel injection contains acetaminophen (paracetamol), a well-known analgesic and antipyretic. It is formulated as a concentrated intravenous solution and is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever in various clinical conditions. Paratel is ideal for patients who cannot take oral medications or require rapid symptom control.
Indications: muscle and bone pain, headache and migraine, post-operative pain, dental pain, viral and bacterial fevers, post-vaccination discomfort
Dosage form: injectable ampoule, 1g in 6.7mL
Warnings: use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment; overdose may cause liver damage; use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only under medical supervision
Drug interactions: concurrent use with alcohol, anticonvulsants, or liver enzyme-inducing drugs may increase risk of hepatotoxicity
