Copamer
Glathyramrastate is an immunosuppressive drug used to treat MS.
This drug is a random polymer of four amino acids, including glutamic acid, lysine, alanine and tyrosine, which work as a bait for the immune system.
The effectiveness of glathyramerastate to reduce recurrence has been confirmed, but not to reduce the progression of disability, although studies suggest that the drug may also prevent disease progression.
This drug is used in the treatment of MS of a recurrent-seller type and in the form of a subcutaneous injection.
