Epoxy flooring, grade 1 ( ALVAN FAM)
Epoxy flooring :
Epoxy adhesive is one of the strongest and most widely used industrial adhesives, made from a combination of two main components:
- Epoxy Resin
- Hardener or Curing Agent
When these two materials are mixed together, a chemical reaction called polymerization occurs, which causes them to harden and create a very strong, durable, and long-lasting bond.
Important features of epoxy adhesive:
Very high adhesion strength on metal, wood, glass, ceramic, concrete and plastic.
Resistant to heat, moisture, chemicals and mechanical stress.
Setting time (drying) varies; some epoxies harden in minutes and some take hours.
After hardening, it creates a clear, hard and impact-resistant surface.
Applications:
- In construction (repairing concrete, stone and tiles).
- In automotive and marine industries (bonding metal and fiberglass parts).
- In electronics (insulating and coating parts).
- In art and decor (making resin jewelry, wood veneer and resin tables).
